The Law Of Decoding The Secret Of God (Obedience) – Part 1

Memory Verse: Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do. The background against today's text Gen 18:17 was...

MORNING DEW: THE NATURE OF LEVIATHAN: A DEMONSTRATION OF GOD’S POWER

MORNING DEW: 22/02/2019 THEME: THE NATURE OF LEVIATHAN: A DEMONSTRATION OF GOD'S POWER TEXT: JOB 41:1-34  1  “Can you draw Leviathan out of the water with a hook,...

MORNING DEW: AVOID THE TRADITIONS OF MEN

“Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; and honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, this people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”

MORNING DEW: DON’T LET A LARGE RANSOM TURN YOU ASTRAY

“Indeed, he drew you away from the brink of distress to a spacious place without constraints, filling your festive table with bountiful food. But now you are occupied with the case of the wicked; but justice and judgment will be served. So that no one entices you with riches, don’t let a large ransom turn you astray. “Will your wealth sustain you when you’re in distress, despite your most powerful efforts? Don’t long for night, when people vanish in their place.”

MORNING DEW: TEMPLE PROSTITUTES

“The godless at heart cherish anger; they won’t cry out for help when God afflicts them. They die in their youth; and their life will end among temple prostitutes. He’ll deliver the afflicted through their afflictions and open their ears when they are oppressed.”

MORNING DEW: WOE TO ALL IDOL WORSHIPPERS (PART TWO)

"Where is the benefit in owning a carved image, that motivates its maker to carve it? It is only a cast image a teacher that lies because the engraver entrusts himself to his carving, crafting speechless idols. Woe to the one who says to a tree, Wake up! or Arise! to a speechless stone. Idols like this can't teach, can they? Look, even though it is overlaid with gold and silver, there's no breath in it at all.”

MORNING DEW: WOE TO ALL IDOL WORSHIPPERS (PART ONE)

MORNING DEW: WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

“So Boaz took Ruth to be his wife, and when he had marital relations with her, the LORD made her conceive, and she bore a son. Then the women of Bethlehem told Naomi, May the LORD be blessed, who has not left you today without a related redeemer. May his name become famous throughout Israel! And he will restore your life for you and will support you in your old age,

MORNING DEW: THE TRUE LOVE

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”

MORNING DEW: THERE IS A REASON FOR EVERY PROBLEM

22. The crowd joined in the attack against them. Then the magistrates had Paul and Silas stripped of their clothes and ordered them beaten with rods. 23. After giving them a severe beating, they threw them in jail and ordered the jailer to keep them under tight security. 24. Having received these orders, he put them into the inner cell and fastened their feet in leg irons.

MORNING DEW: DON’T BE UNGRATEFUL

“Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.”

MORNING DEW: : GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD

Shout to the LORD all the earth! Serve the LORD with joy. Come before him with a joyful shout! Acknowledge that the LORD is God. He made us and we belong to him; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Thank him and bless his name, for the LORD is good and his gracious love stands forever. His faithfulness remains from generation to generation.
