Life is lived a day at a time (By Rev. Nicholas Nyarko)

We plan our lives thinking of the future. We plan for the days, weeks, months, years and sometimes decades ahead BUT we live a day at a time.
To make the best of today and achieve more in the future, you have to put yesterday or the past behind you. Don’t allow your past to cripple you. Don’t let your past embalm you. Remember yesterday is gone and past, it is history. It is in your best interest to put the past behind you. Apostle Paul said:
” Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead*, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” *(Philippians 3:13-14)*
Depending on the successes, achievements and victories of the past make you complacent and stagnant.
Be encouraged and motivated by the successes, achievements and victories of the past to do more for yourself, family, church and country. Learn from your failures and disappointments  of the past and move forward for a fulfilled life.
Arise, shake yourself and pursue your dreams. For you are destined to accomplish great and mighty things. Your beginning may be little but your end will be great
Receive grace to put the past behind you and focus on the future. Shalom.
