PERISHABLE THINGS DON’T DEFINE YOU 1

With the influx of technological gadgets and machines, majority of humanity have forgotten who they are and allowing the abundance of perishable things to define their worth.
That’s such a great pity judging from who God made us to be and the wonderous worth or tag God placed on us.
God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature
So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.” Genesis 1:26

God made us general overseers over His creation as stewards with ownership responsibilities. Gods on the earth we were made to be. It’s absolutely vivid that only God can tell us who we are and not even ourselves. A clear scenario is found in Judges 6:11-15,when an angel of the Lord visited Gideon who was threshing wheat by the winepress and also hiding himself from the medianites because of fear and ignorance of who he was.

His definition was the least from his father’s house, a guy from a small family originating from the smallest tribe(Judges 6:15)but the angel of the Lord revealed to him who he really was and he had no idea of it,”A man of valor”. It’s amazing how God’s definition always contradicts ours.

Could it be that people allow their phones, experiences, conditions, absence of luxuries, cars, connections and abundance of perishable things to define them because of ignorance?

Because, we lost that earlier definition as the gods on the earth, God made another huge move to restore back to us a far more greater definition that believers of this age are still struggling to fathom.
What could this definition be?
