MEMORY VERSE
(Col 3:12)
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
I was a quick tempered guy during my JHS and SHS days, even though I was born again. I could react to issues in an unmannerly way and later be remorseful about it. I’ll pray to Papa God, please take away this anger but will still find myself in that same act.
One will ask how do i work it out? It is simple but not easy, and that is by feeding on God’s word consistently. Psalm 19:7 says, “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.”
The deal here is, when we become born again our soul is still the same and has not changed. The only thing that can change your emotions is the word of God and that made me the guy i wanted to be.
PRAYER: God grant me grace enough to overcome..
