MORNING DEW: There is only one thing you need

MORNING DEW: 28-10-2018

TOPIC: THERE IS ONLY ONE THING YOU NEED

TEXT: LUKE 10:38-42

“Now as they were traveling along, Jesus went into a village. A woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who sat down at the Lords feet and kept listening to what he was saying. But Martha was worrying about all the things she had to do, so she came to him and asked, Lord, you do care that my sister has left me to do the work all by myself, don’t you? Then tell her to help me. The Lord answered her, Martha, Martha! You worry and fuss about a lot of things. But there’s only one thing you need. Mary has chosen what is better, and it is not to be taken away from her.”

IN THIS LIFE

In this life there are many things one may need. For instance:

  1. Food
  2. Houses
  3. Cars
  4. Education
  5. Money
  6. Etc.
RECOMMENDED:  IDENTITY CRISIS 7

All the above things mentioned are good but they have expiring dates. No matter the amount you acquire in life you will go to your final abode without sending a penny.

The number of certificates you acquired will all rot here. When you depart from this life no one can use them.

The number of houses you built will become dust time coming. Your cars cannot help you in your final destination.

Jesus Christ (Life) is the important figure you need. You need Him now and time to come. He will decide your final abode.

Martha was busy preparing what will make you happy today and cannot help you when you stand before the Master (Jesus) for judgment. Mary on the other end was busy working on her spiritual life. And she knew only Jesus could give her eternal life.

What is your need? Is it material things? They have limits. Is it salvation?, that’s what you need. You need Jesus Christ. You need the Saviour Jesus.

RECOMMENDED:  DAILY CAPSULES: What you don't expect, you don't Experience.

If you have Jesus you have life.

HAPPY SUNDAY BELOVED!

Prayer: Forgive me Lord, and cleanse me with the Blood of Jesus, I am ready to serve you,

Amen!
