The gates of hell, and the kingdom of darkness continually malign to the original counsel of God for HIS children in Christ Jesus. It is the dire desire of the devil to subvert the principal cause of God pertaining humanity, therefore unleashing his threefold ministry in the lives of many; stealing, killing and destroying.
The prophet old Isaiah via the autopsy of the spirit of God, foresaw the liberation that would befall humanity. He said in Isaiah 28:16-18, that, “therefore, thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation stone, a tried stone, a corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste…… and your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell will not stand,….”.
The call of emancipation sounds undoubtedly on the Christ, who is the chief corner stone referred by Isaiah. He has been tried, tested and proven to be a sure foundation of any individual who will believe. The emergence of the Christ, has perpetually discomfited death, and has brought out of Sheol(the place of death). No wonder, in the encounter with John in Island of Patmos, He declared,” I am the he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death”. (Revelation 1:18)
The Christ has super-imposed His authority over death and hell, bringing immortality and life to light through the gospel. You can live the transcendent life now in Christ Jesus; a life beyond failure, sickness, retrogression, frustration, lack and any representation of hell.
