Why Relationships?

RELATIONSHIPS are very important in life and we should have them according to God’s way.
As Christians, we should not allow the world and their way of thinking to dictate to us how we should be relating to one another.

Lack of good quality relationships can be a gap in one’s life because God uses relationships to help us get from one place or level to the next.
Good relationships serve as bridges and it’s needful we learn how to get involved in good, healthy relationships that will help us and take us to the next level.

Most of us are afraid, insecure and have become more watchful because of the hurts and disappointments we experienced in some bad relationships therefore, we want to be alone. It could even be that the relationships in which these were experienced were not bad in themselves, but the way both parties handled them made them seem so.

In life, the number one source of stress among humans comes from relationships.
Most problems faced in the society, church and family are related to relationships.

Everyone is challenged by the mystery of human relationships. The key to successful relationships is knowledge: this is what will help us handle them in a godly manner.
DID YOU KNOW?

Society has taught us that it is not good to be SINGLE, so there is lots of pressure on individuals who are not in any relationship and unmarried.

Most young people have this ideology that they ain’t complete until they get married or get into a relationship.

For reasons such as these most individuals rush into marriages/relationships while unprepared and there’s chaos everywhere. Marriages are breaking down and families are tearing apart.

The most important relationship in life is not INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP (relationship with others) but rather INTRAPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP (relationship with oneself).

The foundation (and quality) of a relationship is the ability for the individual to know about himself (SELF KNOWLEDGE).

Self-knowledge is the key to successful relationships.

Young people need to know the advantages of BEING SINGLE and COMPLETE (WHOLENESS).

Relationship/Marriage does not take care of your problems and weaknesses. Rather, it exposes them.
