Sacrifice of Good Deeds

” But to do good and to communicate, forget not: for with such sacrifices, God is well pleased”

(Hebrews 13:16). God demands from us a sacrifice of good deeds. It’s the act of being kind and sharing what you have with others.
This sacrifice has to do with helping others; especially the needy in your extended family, neighbourhood, society and church. The Bible says with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

The blessings and privileges God has given you are not only for you and your immediate household. Always remember that *God blesses you so you can be a blessing to others*. Kindly, extend a helping hand to the poor, needy, less fortunate and vulnerable in society.
Willingly and cheerfully support those in your neighbourhood and the needy in Church:

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

(Galatians 6:10)

Your sacrifices will never be in vain.
Don’t stop doing good to others. May your sacrifices be well pleasing and acceptable to God. May we have a willing and cheerful heart to support the poor, needy and less privileged in society. Again, may God help us to identify the needy in our family, neighbourhood, society and church so you can wholeheartedly support them. Jesus made His followers aware that imitating His character and conduct of love, was all that the world needed to confirm their authenticity as His disciples. Love, a new commandment, was to be the badge of distinction for the disciples.

RECOMMENDED:  Everyday Miracles

They were not to be identified as true disciples by their eloquence, depth in Scriptures, a particular way of dressing, observance of certain rituals, a show of extraordinary gifting, ideas, systems, programmes etc.

Love was to be the main mark of distinction, which set them apart.

The early church was a true case study of true love and concern for each other. (Acts 4:32; 1 John 3:10). The Lord will bless the work of your hands and crown all your efforts with success.

You shall eat the fruit of your labour and shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.
May the favour of the Lord our God be upon you and establish the work of your hands. Shalom!!!
