Gamel Sankarl is an ace author, sensational speaker and a phenomenal poet. He is a talented teacher whose heartbeat is to impart, ignite and inspire others with his insights for impact. And he does that with passion through writing, speaking and poetry recital.
He is a trained biomedic with BSc in Human Biology and is currently a candidate for an MSc in Chemical Pathology. With his biomedical knowledge, Gamel has equipped many to live physically heathy and mentally wealthy through his professional health talks and health screening interventions.
He is a multiple award winning writer with both national and international recognition. Mr Sankarl is an author of fifteen books including the titles:’Author at any Age’, Better Is Better, Career Compendium, Gamelian Gems, How To Read and Reap, Perfecting Public Speaking etc. He is also a co-author for the Africa 80 book which was written by 80 young Africans.
Gamel works with Gamelian Books where he helps aspiring authors page their messages. He has facilitated several creative writing workshops and worked as the creative writing coach for the Young Ghanaians Writing Programme. He has had the honor of delivering guest lectures to creative writing students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism and the Publishing students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Some of the milestones Gamel has achieved as a writer include being selected as one of ten African student awardees for the PAMCA Essay competition, awarded as Best Male Influential Writer by the Leadership Mind Ambassadors in their 2014 Online Recognition Awards, nominated twice (2014,2015) as Best Author in the BEFFTA UK Global awards and recently awarded by the Pentasi B World Friendship Society as a Universal Inspirational Poet.
On the speaking front, he has been privileged to share platforms with prominent people in society. He speaks mostly on personal leadership development and peak academic performance and coaches on creative writing, career choices, public speaking and poetry performance. Some of his most recent recognitions include being; voted as one of ‘Top 20 Young Speakers In Ghana’ by his colleagues at the Motivational Speakers Network, named one of the ‘Ten Most Influential Youth In Obuasi’ by the Alliance for Youth Development group and listed by ViewPoint Journal as one of ’20 Under 35 Change Makers You Must Know’ by the Africa Youth Awards Team.
Gamel Sankarl is a member of the Ghana Association of Writers and as well a member of the Global Shapers community where he partners with other amazing young people to undertake projects that promote communal and national development.
