Yaw Siki, known as Bro. Yaw in the Christian world will be in the golden City in two weeks time for the Extravagant Worship and Comedy Night at Glorious Zion Mission International on 14th August, 2016.
Yaw Siki became a household name in Ghana when he released his single hiplife track, ‘Wope dodo’, but has since converted to Christianity and is now doing gospel music.
Yaw Siki was involved in an accident on the Accra-Tema Motorway with a friend on Monday, April 15, 2013, on their way back from Accra.
Their Toyota Camry car somersaulted near the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Dominion Centre. They were rushed to the 37 Military Hospital. Siki was later admitted and treated for deeps cuts on his head.
He was subsequently discharged after spending some two weeks at the military-run health facility.
His then manager, Coaches said in August 2013 that after Siki’s full recovery he will be doing ‘positive’ music.
Yaw Siki made a resolution not to do secular music again after he was involved in the gory accident.
Extravagant Worship and Comedy Night is organised by Youth for Christ Mission and it will be a night of godly worship and comedy. Christian Comedians Parrot Mouth and Hillarious Shizzles will also be present.
The event will be streamed live on sindefefeated.com online radio.
