HOW ADDICTIONS CAN DESTROY A LIFE
1. You become a subject to eternal Judgement: 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are. God will destroy us if we continue to live in our addictions because we have destroyed His Temple.
2. Kills you spiritually. Ephesians 2 :1″as for u, u were dead in your transgressions and sins” which means if you continue to live in your addictions you become dead in the spirit and so the Holy Spirit does not stay in you.
3. It deprives us from the Kingdom of God .Eph. 5:21 “I warn as I did before that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God” this means wen God comes and we are still in our addictions we won’t be able to inherit His Kingdom but den we ll be in eternal Judgement which is Hell.
4. An evil spirit takes charge of your soul and is at work in you to use you. Ephesians 2:2 “In which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work those who are disobedient.” So the bible makes us understand that if we live in our addictions and follow the ways of the world, we follow the ways of the rulers of the kingdoms of the air , again being disobedient, it makes an evil spirit at work in you .
