The universe is NOT God

Some so called meditation gurus teach people to worship mother nature. To connect with the universe through meditations. That the universe is our divine provider. One with God Most High. Be warned today that the universe is NOT God. This doctrine is idolatry.

God lives outside time and space. The universe cannot contain Him. God created the universe and details the creation story in the first two chapters of Genesis. God warned us against worshipping the universe.

Deuteronomy 4:19 – And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars – all the heavenly array – do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven.

This new age teaching tells us that we are all gods. They urge us to seek power within. This sounds like motivation but it is idolatry disguised as empowerment. Do not be deceived. The worship of self is Luciferian. In Isaiah 14:13-14, Lucifer said he will make himself like the Most High.

What’s the difference between self-worship and self-motivation? Attitude. We are created beings. The power we have is given. Save Jesus, no human being ever had inherent power. We cannot sustain ourselves. God sustains our lives. When we recognize the power within us is from God, then we are motivated individuals. When we think we are gods all by ourselves, we’re deceived idolaters.
