THE HERALDS CHOIR-GH is a non denominational choral group in Obuasi with a it’s main aim of evangelizing to the world through its melodious tunes. It begun in August 2013, when a group of young and energetic youth gathered themselves together to perform at a ceremony in Tarkwa. After the program, it dawn on some of the leaders who gathered the choristers to the program to organize the youth who are into music to form a non denominational Choir.
The name HERALDS CHOIR was a mystery which will be a whole write up some other time.
NOHAC is an abbreviated word for the Choir’s annual Thanksgiving program which is scheduled for the first week in January of the new year dubbed, A NIGHT OF HYMNS AND CLASSICALS – NOHAC
The first and second editions came off in 2018 and 2019 respectively at the St. Thomas Social Centre and it was an awesome experience as guests gave thanks to the Lord Almighty for His protection for the previous years and the new years ahead.
This year won’t been an exception as NOHAC 2020 is coming off on Sunday 19th, January 2020 at St. Paul’s Anglican Parish, Obuasi Central at 4:30pm.
The most interesting aspect is that, it’s a free entry program.
This year’s theme was paraphrased from Psalm 100:4;
Psalm 100:4
[4] Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name!
And it will be delivered by The Choir’s Spiritual Father, Rev. Father Prince Osei Yeboah, the Parish Priest of St. Paul’s Anglican Parish.
Come and let’s give thanks to God for all that He’s done for us.
NOHAC 2020…Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving.
Sing…With Heart!!!
