The Holy Spirit is the Christian’s Enabler
It is required of the Christian to bear fruits. Fruition by the Christian is a confirmation of his walk with the Holy Spirit. David said it is in vain to wake up early in the morning and return at night and eat the bread of sorrow. (Psalm 127:2)
He had already stated that, “Except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes in vain”. The center of true success is the Lord. When one commits his works unto the Lord, his thoughts are established.
God wanted people in the Old Testament to head the tribes of Israel. He instructed Moses to choose men who were able to lead the tribes of Israel and rule over the tribes to lessen the gravity of Moses’ workload. In Exodus 18:25, “Moses chose able men out of all Israel and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens”. Moses were only able to choose the abled men from the tribes without preferential treatment because the Holy Spirit taught him.
In 2 Corinthians 3:6, Scriptures tell us that Christians are enabled by the Spirit because He gives life whilst the letter kills. It is then obvious that the Christian allows himself to grow in the person of the Holy Spirit.
