NO VISION,NO TEMPTATIONS 3
First,we take a critical look at Job’s issue biblically.
Most believers and unbelievers have developed ignorance about Job’s issue as to it been the orchestration of the lord or the devil.
This is Job’s first description.
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name [was] Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. Job 1:1-3
This was not a visionless man.To be the greatest man of all the east is no joke.Note that he was not one of the greatest but the greatest.
Greatness is intentional and does not come with ease else everyone who has a vision should be great.
The devil according to Psalm 11:2-3 is always ready to throw his arsenals at the upright or righteous. But it’s success is dependant on the foundation of the righteous.
No wonder the bible declares, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the lord delivers them from all not some. Psalm 34:19
Knowing this,the devil critically noted Job’s ignorance and went to the lord for permission. Why?
If the lord never allowed the devil,he couldn’t have tempted job.This explains why the bible exhorts us to count it all joy during these times because He’s still in control.
It’s important to note that if Job had not broken a spiritual law,the lord would not have permitted the devil. Which law was this?
Do you know that if Jesus had responded to the devil’s temptations in Matthew 4 and jumped for the angels to catch Him,he would have died without going to the cross? As powerful as Jesus was,he obeyed Spiritual laws to teach us his followers how important spiritual laws are.
Because Jesus was the greatest visionary,he had to be tempted in different forms but overcame them all.Hebrews 4:15
No matter how much God loves you,if you disobey this law you will suffer the consequences.
Examples of some spiritual laws are the law of sowing and reaping and the law of renewing your mind.(meditation)
When the devil presented himself among the angels of the lord in Job 1:6-12,a conversation took place.
