HAVE YOU DONE THIS TODAY? Meditation 960x638

I don’t know about you but whenever I don’t make room for the meditation of God’s word,I act ungodly and think carnally throughout the day.

I believe it’s true for you as well because Jesus said in John 15:5 that until we abide in the word and the word abide in us,we can do nothing. The best way to abide in the word is through meditation.

God knowing this, gave a remedy for the godly man.

“Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” (Psalm 1:1)

For us not to think and act in the beliefs of the ungodly or behave as sinners there must be some help for us.
The word shows us how.

”But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” (Psalm 1:2)

One good aspect of meditation is, we can meditate anywhere. If our minds are on the word even in the midst of a gathering, our acts turn out to be godly and unique. But if there’s no word engaging the mind which is carnal,we tend to pay evil for evil and fulfil the lust of the flesh day and night.Romans 8:7

It’s a Spiritual law.The state of your mind will always determine what to say and to do.
For as a man thinks,so is he.Proverbs 23:7
Obeying and pleasing the Lord at all times is dependant on the word hidden in you. Psalm 119:11

Where is your mind at?
The bible tells us to do this day and night.Another word for day and night is ALWAYS not once or twice a day.

Carnality and ungodliness have become common in the church today because of the lack of meditation.

Meditation dictates to the mind what should be thought about,to say and to do.
If this becomes our way of life, the bible tells us that everything we do will be prosperous. Psalm 1:3
The word cannot manifest from our thoughts to fail. Isaiah 55:11

Meditation is the manifestation of God’s word in our acts.
Have you meditated today?
Notice I did not use read but meditate. You can do it now if you haven’t.
