Evangelist Akwasi Awuah lifts lid on left hand deformity
Ghanaian popular televangelist, Evangelist Akwasi Awuah, has lift the lid on how his left hand deformed. It appears in Christ each and every one must carry his cross and the evangelist has revealed a touchy and emotional story of how he got his hand deformed.
His testimony, to some, appeared as a rebuttal to Prophet Owusu Bempah who had accused the former of ascertaining injuries because he was been chased out for having an affair with a woman at Obuasi some years adrift.
Evangelist Akwasi Awuah confessed that his deformed hand was not the real state from the beginning. He was attacked at gun point en-route to Tarkwa some years and ago which forced his car to summersault. Recounting this menace, he pointed a man whom he has close proximity from infancy to testify of the original of his left hand.
The man of God continued by narrating that, “it took some farmers returning from their vocation to aid him lift the car and his left hand bones were already out on the floor. He had to walk from the place of the incident to the then Ashanti Goldfields Company hospital.”
“The nurse on duty said the nature of deformity would require amputation of the hand yet there was no doctor at the material moment to attend to him. After pleading with the nurse and finding a doctor to attend to him, the doctor referred the matter to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. Being neglected at the bus station, a woman who knew him having seen him went to charter a 207 bus for him to get to KATH”.
He showed his deformed hand and encouraged his congregation, that, “he didn’t go to steal nor do any bad thing but suffered because of the gospel”
