“Covid-19 cannot survive the Body of Christ”, Tanzanian President adamant to close churches
The global meltdown experienced by nations since the outbreak of Covid-19 is gargantuan. To curb the situation, many countries have banned public gatherings and even locked down the entire country.
Tanzania, as a nation, has recorded twelve (12) cases momentarily and citizenry are alerting the President to follow suit and ban public gatherings which will directly affect churches.
President Magufuli shares differing opinions to the demands of others who want the close down of churches. In his candid opinion, the virus is satanic and the place for real healing is the church.
This decision by the Statesman has drawn majority of criticism with many suggesting he is putting the whole country at risk.
