Bishop Oyedepo’s “reputation” dignified after U.S Embassy’s public address
Both the offices of Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo and that of U.S Embassy’s in Nigeria had a shock on Friday as news diffused on social media that the U.S consulate in Nigeria had denied the erstwhile visa. The viral news was worrying as it intended to smear the hard earned goodwill of the two (2) and muddy their image. The perpetrators had a crystal clear mission to start a feud between the two (2) offices or discredit a man of God who is alluded to Prophet Elijah of our days.
The U.S Consulate in Nigeria has publicly debunked the story, saying, “His outfit had not in any way denied Bishop Oyedepo Visa and that the news was manufactured”. The U.S Embassy has inspired the general public to treat such news menial and should treat it with contempt.
The public statement of the Embassy, was, “Be advised, the reports making rounds about a visa being denied to Nigerian Bishop Oyedepo are false,”. “If you have seen this manufactured item in the media, help defeat this #misinformation by communicating it to everyone that it is completely false.”
The expectations of the mockers have been thwarted as God has lifted the man of God once again before his enemies.
