David was glad when He was asked to come to the house of the Lord, and by virtue of the power and glory He saw resident in the house of God, compelled him to individually seek the Lord early with all his inner being. He cried in Psalm 63:1-2, ” You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory”.
In this distractive world, many Christians are confronted with the cares of this world which deflect them from having an intimate relationship with God, like David had.
Pastor Seye Fajulo has therefore urged Christians to live beyond excuses ( both rational and flimsy ) when it comes to creating time for personal relationship with God. According to the woman of God, there are legitimate things that call for the attention of Christians but when yielded to, will never allow the Christian to labour in the word of God and build a constant prayer life.
She said, ” if you give room for excuses, whether legitimate or illegitimate, there are dimensions in God you won’t access or walk in although His love for you remains the same “.
