“THE REFINED” is theme for Returning to Our First Love 2019

Jesus Project Ministry, the organizers of Returning to Our First Love annual event, has themed this year’s event, THE REFINED.

The concept of “The refined” was coined from Isaiah 48:10
“Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.”

This informs Christians about the transformation attained when one has an encounter with the Lord and the revival that follows. It also depicts the idea of how God reshapes Christians into new creatures, not by works but for His name’s sake. There is an inspiration that comes anytime one goes through the furnace of affliction. For in our weaknesses, He makes himself strong.

This year’s event will also witness the maiden Album recording of Joshua Ahenkorah. It is the 7th Concert since the Jesus Project ministry started.

Pastor Emmit, Minister Onasis Effah Kontor, MaxGyams and Kofi Owusu Peprah shall also be ministering on the day along side the host, Joshua Ahenkorah. The concert will be held in Obuasi on the 14th of July 2019 at 5pm. The venue is the First Baptist Church, Obuasi Estate.
