Overcomers Family Chapel Assemblies of God located in Abompekrom, Obuasi has donated assorted drinks and toiletries to the Patmos Orphanage Home. The presentation which was done by representatives of the church including the head pastor, Rev. Nicholas Nyarko seeks to help lessen the burden of the orphanage who has been in existence since 2008.

Currently, Patmos Children’s Home, operates as an orphanage as well as rehabilitation centre for 30 children. These children – street kids and orphans –  are basically coming from devastating circumstances and in this regard the home offers shelter, moral and social support as well as informal education. Their approach is to render these services within the frame-work of love.
