IDENTITY CRISIS 9
2.Soul? THE MANAGER
3.Body? THE SERVANT
This is what happens when you do what you don’t want to do.
As an institution or structure, the manager brings out proposals to enhance the growth of it to be carried out by the workers or servants with the permission of the owner to approve or disapprove it.
But if the owner is weak, sick, blind, dumb, deaf, powerless or disabled, the manager takes decisions which he thinks will benefit him.The servant will always endorse what the manager says if there’s no owner to make him do otherwise.
The owner might know or hear what’s going on and might not be in agreement with the manager but because of his weakness or disability, what he does not want to happen in his own institution will keep going on until he recovers and becomes stronger as the one in charge to takeover the control of the manager’s decisions and the works of the servant.
No owner will like to be in a situation where the manager or administrator and the servants or workers team up against him or her because of some weakness or infirmities.
In the presence of the spirit man,the soul and body can team up to take over the whole structure due to the weakness of the spirit man.
The challenge of the Christian life is what do I do with the stuff the old man left though it’s dead?Roman 6:2-11
But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
This is exactly what happens when you do what you hate but still do it anyway. If the soul and the body have teamed up against the real you, there’s a need for deliverance.
O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and DELIVER me from [the shackles of] this body of death?O thank God! [He will!] through JESUS CHRIST (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.Romans 7:24-25.
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. James 1:21
The devil is still deploying this same strategy to ignorant believers of this age mentally.
The battle for the control of men is still waging at a ground called the mind which is part of the soul.
The deceiver is using the weapon called guilt to halt believers from fighting the good fight of faith to finally lay hold on eternal life.1 Timothy 6:12
Have we ever asked ourselves why the breastplate was attached to our righteousness and salvation as our helmet in Ephesians 6?
It will explain why the prodigal son was able to come back to his father for restoration and reinstitution.
